Head of Zeus has revealed more details about its new lifestyle imprint Anima, which will be headed by editor Ellen Parnavelas.
Anima is launching with Destination Simple by Brooke McAlary, a book of everyday rituals for a "calmer, slower, happier" life from the creator of health podcast "Slow Your Home".
The imprint will also publish We're Asleep Dad in November, a collection of "hilarious" tweets from co-owner of the Big Green Bookshop, Simon Key; The Little Book of Building Fires by Sally Coulthard, a practical and inspiring gift book about how to chop, scrunch, stack and light a fire both indoors and out; and The Wellness Rebel, a complete guide to sorting nutrition fact from fiction using "delicious" recipes from biochemist, nutritionist and Instagram "sensation" Plantbased Pixie in April 2018.
Parnavelas said: "Anima is a collection of books across a range of genres that will inspire people to challenge themselves, live well and enjoy life. Starting Anima for Head of Zeus has given me the opportunity to bring everything I’ve always been interested in together to make beautiful and engaging books. I hope to continue to grow this innovative imprint that reflects my own interest in living a life that is diverse, challenging and enriching."
