HQ has bought the “groundbreaking” first book from executive success coach and social scientist Amanda DeWinter.
Executive publisher Lisa Milton and editorial director Kate Fox acquired world all-language rights from Rachel Mills at Rachel Mills Literary. The Success Code will be published in summer 2020 in hardback, e-book and audio.
The publisher said: “The Success Code will give readers the essential tools and skills to identify their ambitions, prioritise their wellbeing, revolutionise their learning, and prepare for success. Including the latest coaching, neuroscience and cognitive psychology on learning and success. The book empowers readers from every walk of life to take charge of their goals and personal responsibility for their future.”
Fox said: “Amanda has an extraordinary breadth of research and experience from her background in academia, education and the corporate world. She’s so passionate about the power of learning and development, and exactly the kind of reassuring, inspiring voice that will help us all identify our learning, personal and career goals, and how to achieve them.”
DeWinter added: “I am excited to be published by dynamic, forward-thinking HQ which shares my bold vision and passion for The Success Code. It has been a remarkable journey and true labour of love to bring this book to the world and I couldn’t have a better team to work with.”
Mills said: “Amanda’s book is an absolutely fascinating and groundbreaking look at how learning is the key to success, and why we need to keep on learning throughout our lives. I am delighted she has found the perfect home at HQ.”
