Gorman said: “Murdoch Books has brought gorgeous, cutting-edge food and lifestyle books to the world for 29 years from our home in Sydney, Australia. Now, we are thrilled to be continuing that tradition from our London office. We are delighted to appoint Céline as our first UK publisher. Her judgement, deep experience and publishing smarts will ensure Murdoch Books remains at the forefront of illustrated and lifestyle publishing.”
Hughes added: “I’ve spent an exceptionally rewarding eight years at Quadrille. Now, I couldn’t be more excited to launch Murdoch’s UK publishing with a new raft of voices and stories, told beautifully and authoritatively. I hope to make readers live better, feel fulfilled, and smile, and I can’t wait to meet the future authors who are going to make that happen."
