Authors and broadcasters Humphrey Hawksley and Lucinda Hawksley are launching a new weekly literary podcast, with headline guests including writers Adele Parks and Joanne Harris.
“The Goldster Inside Story Podcast”, produced by online class provider Goldster, will follow guest authors as they give an autobiographical account of their life and career, as well as highlight their new and upcoming books.
Alongside Parks and Harris, notable guests including Greg Hurwitz, Elly Griffiths, Vince Cable and Dr Linda Shaw will all be appearing on the podcast, which will be available from February 10th via major platforms including Apple and Spotify.
Mike Reid, chairman and co-founder of Goldster, said: “We’re delighted to have been supported by some superb guests including Joanne Harris, the author of Chocolat which sold over one million copies, Adele Parks, an author of 22 novels to date and Elly Griffiths, the crime novelist best known for the Ruth Galloway series.
“These are all writers at the very top of their game with hugely impressive careers, and will no doubt prove fascinating to our listeners who download the podcasts.”
Host Humphrey Hawksley is a former BBC foreign correspondent and author of the acclaimed Future History series Dragon Strike. He will be joined by Lucinda Hawksley, an author, broadcaster, and great-great-great-granddaughter of Charles Dickens. The pair currently host Goldster’s Book Club.
Humphrey Hawksley and Lucinda Hawksley said: “It’s hugely exciting to be involved with this project and work with acclaimed authors who include some of the biggest names in the industry. Each episode will be brimming with rich material and leave listeners in anticipation for the next instalment. We can hardly wait.”
