Indie booksellers invited to vote for final Wodehouse title in new PRH anniversary series
Penguin Random House’s Hutchinson Heinemann is inviting independent booksellers to select a P G Wodehouse title to be reissued as part of a new series celebrating the 120th anniversary of the author’s first novel, The Pothunters.
The winning selection will be published as part of the series, each with a new cover design, alongside the already chosen Carry on Jeeves, Something Fresh, Leave it to Psmith and The Code of the Woosters.
Participants have the option to vote for one of the following: Thank You, Jeeves; The Inimitable Jeeves; Right Ho, Jeeves; Joy in the Morning or Jeeves and the Feudal Spirit.
Voting opened on Friday 13th May and closes on 20th May. The winning title will be announced on Friday 27th May.
Hutchinson Heinemann will support stores with extra marketing materials and they can include their ‘why we love Wodehouse’ quotes on the materials, a spokesperson said.
A brand new gift edition of The Pothunters will go on sale on 6th October 2022 alongside the other titles.
