Ingram Publisher Services UK (IPS UK) is teaming up with the US-based Christian book publisher InterVarsity Press (IVP), and will assume distribution responsibilities in the UK and all territories outside North America from 1st October.
One of the main strategic benefits for the publisher will be the provision of distribution for print-to-order titles, ensuring unlimited availability.
Matthew Dickie, senior manager, IPS UK, said: "InterVarsity Press is a distinguished name in Christian publishing, and we’re honoured to partner with them. We look forward to committing resources to maximise IVP’s sales and impact in new markets."
Ben McCoy, vice-president of operations at IVP, added: "We’re excited to work with IPS UK. This relationship will ensure our publications further our mission to inspire and equip Christian readers globally."
This collaboration is the latest in a series of collaborations for IPS UK, which has secured agreements with five other publishers in the first half of 2024.
Dickie said: "Publishers are seeking partners who can provide effective logistics and support their evolving business needs. We’re uniquely positioned to deliver on those expectations."
After 2nd October 2024, all UK distribution enquiries should be directed to IPSUK.CustomerCare@ingramcontent.com, and until 1st January 2025, returns should be made to IVP’s previous distributor, John Wiley & Sons Inc.
