Insight Editions uses Pinnacle for UK and international push

Pinnacle Booksales has agreed a sales and distribution agreement with Insight Editions starting from 1st July 2024.

As part of the agreement Insight editions will be moving its export sales for Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia to the UK to be managed by Pinnacle Booksales. Pinnacle will be handling all distribution through an agreement with Hachette Distribution.

Insight Editions is growing its profile in the UK and international markets publishing more titles under its own imprints. Insight Editions is known for publishing books, stationery and gift products officially licensed for Harry Potter, Disney, Star Wars, Warner Brothers, Paramount, DC, Universal and others.

Insight Editions joins Pinnacle’s other independent publishers including Union Square & Co, Quarto Publishing, Gemini Books Group, Phaidon, Barefoot Books, Schiffer and Pen & Sword.

David Segrue, sales director of Pinnacle Booksales, said: "With the closure of GBS (Grantham Book Services) we are very lucky to be able to offer Insight the best distribution service through our partnership with Hachette." Segrue said that through its distribution agreement, Pinnacle planned to give independent publishers an option for moving into Hachette.

As part of the growth of the Pinnacle business, Emma Farrel will be joining Pinnacle as export sales director and is tasked with growing sales and reach overseas.
