Jacqueline Wilson, David Walliams and Rick Stein will host events to mark the return of Waterstones at John Lewis Oxford Street after eight years.
The bookshop features nearly 20,000 titles and will be opening its doors to customers at 10am on Tuesday 8th October.
The events programme will kick off on opening day with Alexander Armstrong signing copies of his debut children’s novel Evenfall: The Golden Linnet (Farshore). The following weekend will offer appearances by children’s characters Peter Rabbit, on Saturday 11th October, and Bunny from Jamie Smart’s Bunny vs Monkey books (David Fickling Books) on Sunday 12th October.
Highlights of the autumn programme include a signing with etiquette specialist William Hanson on Saturday 19th October, a Walliams and Adam Stower signing on 24th October and a book signing with Patrick Grant on 25th October. The line-up also includes an event with celebrity chef Stein on 9th November, while Dame Jacqueline will be signing copies of her adult fiction and her latest children’s book on 1st December.

With the events programme already boasting fantastic guests and signings, our team can’t wait to finally welcome customers into the shop!”
