Taylor Jenkins Reid and Rebel Girls to curate LoveMyRead subscription boxes
BookTok favourite Taylor Jenkins Reid and global women’s empowerment platform Rebel Girls will be the first guest curators for LoveMyRead’s September subscriptions boxes.
Acquired by Fane in May, LoveMyRead delivers the month’s newest releases straight to subscribers’ homes along with treats from partner brands. Each month, a list of eight fiction titles for adult subscribers to choose from is released, and a book for each age range is offered for the children’s subscription.
Fane is extending the LoveMyRead service offer to include free access to Fane Online events, and priority booking for its live events for premium users.
In September, Taylor Jenkins Reid’s new book, Carrie Soto is Back (Hutchinson Heinemann) will be available to subscribers, along with her selection of seven other titles, including Dele Weds Destiny by Tomi Obaro (Hodder and Stoughton), In Case of Emergency by Poorna Bell and Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia (Quercus).
Following previous curators including Malorie Blackman, Pandora Sykes and Caitlin Moran, the autumn line-up will also feature choices by Dolly Alderton to coincide with the hardback publication of Dear Dolly: On Love, Life and Friendship (Penguin) on 27th October. Her new book features a collection of her Sunday Times Style agony aunt columns, including advice on dating, love, body issues and social media. Also featuring will be award-winning children’s fiction publisher Knights Of and British writer Paterson Joseph, whose new book The Secret Diaries of Charles Ignatius Sancho (Little, Brown) will be published on 6th October.
Alongside December’s Best of 2022 subscription box, Stanley Tucci will be creating a bespoke book bundle, including a signed paperback copy of Taste (Fig Tree), and two personally selected titles, along with ethically sourced gifts and treats. Both the general public and subscribers, who will receive a discount, will have the opportunity to purchase one of only 1,000 signed copies on offer.
