Natalie Jerome has left Curtis Brown to work more independently as an agent.
Jerome joined Curtis Brown in September 2021, based in Newport, Wales. Before that she worked as an independent agent with Aevitas. She has also worked at a senior commissioning level at publishers including Ebury, Pan Macmillan, HarperCollins and Bonnier.
Jerome is a founding trustee and board member for Creative Access, a mentoring and graduate trainee scheme for Black and minority ethnic candidates looking for paid internships across the media sector.
Jerome told The Bookseller: “I’ve learnt a lot during my time with Curtis Brown and would like to thank Jonny [Geller, c.e.o.] and Gordon [Wise, senior agent] for giving me the opportunity to join the books team. Pushing boundaries and challenging myself has always been important and central to my work and I feel ready and am excited about making a big next step in my career working more independently.
