Jessica Farrugia Sharples, currently publicist at Pan Macmillan imprint Bluebird, is joining Headline Books as senior publicity manager.
Sharples begins in her new role joining communications director Georgina Moore’s team across the fiction and non-fiction lists on 20th March.
Moore praised Sharples as "someone super creative, commercial and brand aware", adding: "I am thrilled she is joining the Headline press office, she will be a huge asset."
At Bluebird, Sharples worked with author brands including "The Body Coach" Joe Wicks, Jasmine Hemsley, Kayla Itsines and Russell Brand, running campaigns across titles in lifestyle, cookery and memoir.
She will now be working across fiction and non-fiction at Headline, but will work "particularly closely" on the new lifestyle imprint Headline Home.
Sharples commented: "I’ve long admired Georgina Moore and her fantastic team for some time for their passion and drive, and ability to make their books cut through in what is an extremely dynamic market. Being part of the small but mighty team Bluebird has been an amazing experience, particularly due to working closely with the visionary Carole Tonkinson and Jodie Mullish, and it’s been a transformative period. I now look forward to the new challenge at Headline."
