Johnny Marr announces book tour dates

English musician and Smiths band member Johnny Marr has announced two events this autumn to promote his upcoming autobiography, Set the Boy Free (Century).

Hot on the heels of the release date for Set the Boy Free on 3rd November, Marr will take part in the Manchester Literary Festival on 7th November, and be at the Barbican in London on 10th November.

The "rare in-conversation events" will discuss Marr's personal journey, from life on a council estate in Wythenshawe to co-founding The Smiths and becoming a solo artist and member of later bands including The The, Electronic, Modest Mouse and The Cribs.
