The hardback collection of “insightful and encouraging daily affirmations for the entire year” is set for release in September 2021 with a children's book to follow in early 2023.
A Little Bit of Faith's synopsis explains: “Full of hope and warmth, this lovely daily devotional draws on Katie’s own faith to show how spirituality and biblical scriptures have brought greater confidence and meaning to her life. Beautifully designed and wonderfully uplifting, this 365-day devotional is easy to dip in and out of. It will help you find strength and confidence when you need it most, and also makes a delightful gift. Packed with hard-won words of wisdom and practical advice, A Little Bit of Faith is the companion every woman needs to grow and glow right where you are.”
Piper is a TV presenter, philanthropist and podcast host. She founded her own charity, The Katie Piper Foundation, to help people living with burns and scars and has received numerous awards and accolades for her work. She is now a presenter on “Songs of Praise” and part of the presenting team on ITV’s “Lorraine”. She hosts podcast “Katie Piper’s Extraordinary People” and is the author of books including Beautiful (Ebury Press).
She said: “I am thrilled to have signed a two-book deal with SPCK Publishing. We’ve already started work on A Little Bit of Faith and it’s proving to be such an exciting, fulfilling project. Positive thinking is very important to me and affirmations are a big part of my life. I really hope my faith, and spiritual thoughts uplift and inspire, especially after recent events, and what has been a tough time for many.”
Neep added: “I am absolutely delighted to be working with Katie. I have long followed and admired Katie's career and the causes she champions and so it is a real honour to join her on this stage of her publishing journey. Bite-size chunks of big wisdom is exactly what readers need in the wake of the global pandemic and we know Katie's forthcoming books will inspire the hope, courage and faith that Katie and her team personify.”
