Kristin Lang appointed head of global Audible books acquisitions

Kristin Lang has been appointed head of global Audible books acquisitions, building a list of exclusive audiobooks and audio-first literary titles.

In her new role, Lang will work with authors, agents and publishers, overseeing deals globally. The news of her appointment "reinforces Audible’s commitment to expanding its exclusive audiobook offerings", according to the company.

Lang previously served as senior director of content acquisition, working on audio-first books with authors and agents in the US, and securing audio rights to various works.

Aurelie de Troyer will continue as head of regional content for Europe. She oversees content programming, editorial and Audible Studios, including commissioning, creative development and production of Audible Original titles.
