Ovenden moves to LKP as head of UK sales

Madeleine Ovenden, previously of Michael O’Mara, has been appointed head of UK sales for Laurence King Publishing (LKP).

She will take up her new role, reporting to LKP sales director Adrian Greenwood, on 10th September.

In her new position, Ovenden will be responsible for a number of key accounts including Waterstones and Foyles. All other LKP’s accounts continue to be handled by Abrams and Chronicle Books (A&CB).

Ovenden has worked at Michael O’Mara since 2011, most recently in the role of senior sales manager. Over the last seven years she worked with key UK and Irish accounts on a diverse list including autobiographies, children’s books, art and gift titles and colouring.
