McGraw-Hill Education c.e.o. David Levin is leaving the company after three years in the role.
Lloyd "Buzz" Waterhouse, who was president and c.e.o. of the company between 2012 and 2014, and has remained on the board of directors, will act as interim president and c.e.o. while McGraw-Hill searches for a permanent successor.
Board chairman Larry Berg said he was "deeply grateful" for Levin's leadership, saying: "During his tenure, the company made great strides in its transformation from a print publisher to an organization that offers a wide array of digital learning solutions. David helped us define our vision and strategy and now, building on this strong base, we will increase our focus on operational performance.”
McGraw-Hill Education plans to issue a preliminary Back to School Season Industry Update on Thursday (19th October).
