This year’s London Book Fair (LBF) will host a live podcast stage for the first time with a line-up featuring Ian McEwan, Caroline O’Donoghue, Daisy Buchanan and many more.
Live podcasts will take place on LBF’s Fireside Chat Stage throughout the three-day event from 12th to 14th March.
The line-up includes writer and podcaster Daisy Buchanan interviewing bestselling author Deborah Moggach for her podcast "You’re Booked" on 12th March at 5pm.
The "Vintage Books" podcast, hosted by Leena Normington, will interview Ian McEwan and Tuesday’s author of the day, Caryl Phillips, among other guests from 2pm on the same day.
"Read Like a Writer", the podcast from Faber & Faber, Serpent’s Tail and Canongate, will have a live session on historical fiction hosted by Anna Fielding. Held on 13th March at 12:30pm will be joined by Jess Kidd and Claire McGlasson.
Author and podcaster, Caroline O’Donoghue, will talk to children’s author Holly Bourne, for her chick lit podcast "Sentimental Garbage" on 14th March at 4pm. There are a string of other podcasts being made throughout the fair.
Podcasters will also be recognised by the LBF for the first time as part of its UK Book Blog Awards, launched in 2018. The winners of this year’s awards will be announced at the fair on 14th March.
