The writing community London Writers’ Salon (LWS) will gather 10,000 writers in a 24-hour Writing Sprint this Spring.
The free event will be a “celebration of writing” and will encourage writers to make progress on a writing project, starting at 8pm in the UK – 3pm ET and 12pm PT – on 12th April. Writers can sign up online to take place.
During the 24-hour period, writers will be provided with “motivational moments” and the quiet space to write – similar to what LWS does in its daily Writers’ Hour creative sessions. Attendees can join anywhere upwards of one hour to all 24, and will also be provided with links to businesses and people who can help assist them in their writing journeys.
Sponsors so far include Gotham Writers, Scrivener and the Faber Academy, as well as Arvon, Writers & Artists (Bloomsbury) and 64 Million Artists, among others.
