From our first conversation to our last, he was gentle, kind, gracious and enthusiastic. His attributes as a person were matched by his talent as a writer where he was elegant, stylish and captivating. We were so proud to publish William last year and feel immensely honoured to publish Exiles later this year. Everyone at John Murray Press loved working with him and will dearly miss him. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, children, family and friends at this difficult time."
