Emma Lowe has joined Glassboxx as head of business development, trade publishing.
Lowe previously worked at The Bookseller and London Book Fair.
Glassboxx said Lowe is “perfectly positioned” to help the audiobook and e-book provider with its collaborations across the publishing industry “with her experience and expertise, as well as her reputation for looking ahead to what’s next in the world of publishing”.
Lowe said: “I’ve known the Glassboxx team for a good while and always enjoyed working with them, often having a lot of fun in the process. I’m very much looking forward to getting to grips with the full range of the Glassboxx offering to help publishers in any way we can while helping the business continue to grow at the same time.”
Darin Brockman, Glassboxx c.e.o., added: "We are thrilled to be welcoming Emma to the team, and know that she brings with her a wealth of industry expertise – not to mention, a talent for forging new paths in publishing. As a sales solution, we value business acumen in helping us to provide the best value for the publishers that we partner with – but we also value the creative forward-thinking that has made Glassboxx what it is. Combining this progressive mindset with the skills to put it into action are what we do best and Emma embodies this and more.”
Lowe’s role is four days a week. She will still be working on other ongoing book-related projects.
