Thames Valley Police has charged a man with the murder of Adrian Greenwood, an antique dealer who was found dead at his Oxford home, according to news reports.
The BBC said officers charged Michael Danaher, of Hadrians Court, Peterborough, on Tuesday (12th April). The 50-year-old was remanded in custody and will appear before magistrates in Banbury at a later time.
A 26-year-old man had previously been arrested but then released without charge.
Greenwood, a historian, was stabbed to death at home on the Iffley Road, Oxford, on Thursday 7th April.
His book Victoria's Scottish Lion: The Life of Colin Campbell, Lord Clyde was published by The History Press in July. He also reportedly collected early editions of J K Rowling's Harry Potter books.
