Michael Danaher has been found guilty of murdering author and rare books dealer Adrian Greenwood (pictured) over a first edition of The Wind in the Willows.
Greenwood was the author of Victoria's Scottish Lion: The Life of Colin Campbell, Lord Clyde, published by the The History Press in July.
Danaher reportedly committed the murder as part of a plan to steal a rare edition of The Wind in the Willows that Greenwood had listed on eBay for £50,000. Greenwood suffered 33 stab wounds in the fatal attack.
Danaher admitted killing the antiques dealer but said it was self-defence, claiming Greenwood attacked him when he visited the dealer to discuss buying books.
He was found guilty and given a life sentence with a minimum of 34 years.
