TV presenter Brown signs a new book with Usborne

Usborne has bought a new middle grade title by Matt Brown, a DJ, TV presenter and the author of the Compton Valance series.

Aliens Invaded My Talent Show is about 10-year-old Eric Doomsday, who loves doing magic tricks. When some inspectors threaten to close down Eric’s school, the headmistress decides to put on a talent show, even though the earth is being inspected by aliens at the same time.

Fiction editorial director Rebecca Hill and fiction editor Becky Walker bought the UK and Commonwealth rights from Jenny Savill at Andrew Nurnberg Associates and will publish in July.
