Louise McKeever is leaving Octopus to join HarperCollins division HQ in the newly created role of editorial director for non-fiction.
She will take up her new role on 31st December reporting to Rose Sandy, publishing director for HQ non-fiction.
McKeever is currently senior commissioning editor at Octopus, working on food, lifestyle and diet books for the Mitchell Beazley, Hamlyn and Kyle lists. She has also worked with new and established voices and brands including Berber & Q, Edd Kimber, Gabriela Peacock and Chetna Makan. Previously she worked at Ebury as an illustrated editor, bringing award-winning cookery and lifestyle books to market, including Ottolenghi’s Simple.
