Michael Joseph snaps up book based on Chris and Rosie Ramsey's podcast

Michael Joseph has acquired world rights to a book by Chris and Rosie Ramsey, hosts of podcast “Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed”.

World rights were acquired by Michael Joseph publisher Charlotte Hardman from Richard Allen-Turner, Lee Hammerman and Katie McKay at Avalon Management. Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed will be published on 3rd September 2020.

"Following the success of their hit podcast ‘Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed’, the Ramsey’s have created a relatable guide that explores the highs and lows of dating, relationships, marriage and everything in between. This book will have readers crying with laughter and nodding along in solidarity," the publisher said.

Chris and Rosie Ramsey said: "We have been absolutely blown away by the response to our podcast. We record it in our kitchen and just talk about whatever is on our minds at the time, it takes no time or effort at all to do, so we thought we would make the entire process more difficult by doing a book as well! Expect more stories, more beefs, more of our take on life, relationships and rude stuff. Neither of us has ever really wanted to write a book, and we are basically only doing it to fill out Rosie’s CV. She’s now got two jobs guys! Podcaster AND author."

It was included in Apple’s Best Listens of 2019 as well as its 2019 Most Popular New Shows. They have a combined following on Instagram of 721k. Chris Ramsey is a stand-up comedian, host of his own comedy shows on Comedy Central and E4 and recently became a semi-finalist on 2019 series of "Strictly Come Dancing". Rosie is an actor, presenter, Radio DJ, singer and influencer. She has appeared on shows including “Married to a Celebrity: A Survival Guide” and “Parenting for Idiots” for Channel 4.
