Michael Joseph is publishing a new book celebrating hand-iced biscuit brand Biscuiteers' 10th anniversary and the biscuit as a giftable treat for special moments.
Cookery editor Ione Walder acquired world rights to Biscuiteers Book of Iced Gifts which will show readers how to bake, ice and assemble their own beautiful biscuits at home, from Clare Hulton of Clare Hulton Literary Agency.
The book, put together by the Biscuiteers' team of icers and product developers, will feature the brand's most popular designs, as well as exclusive new creations, celebration cakes, and quirky "biscuit pops", as organised by occasion, including birthdays, weddings, christenings, baby showers, Mother's Day, Halloween and Christmas.
Walder said: "Biscuiteers has cleverly cornered the market for memorable gifts that taste as good as they look. With the brand having just celebrated its 10th birthday, the time feels right to bring together a decade of beautiful biscuit designs into a lavish new book, revealing all the insider tips and tricks needed to recreate their famous iced biscuits at home."
Biscuiteers co-founder Harriet Hastings said: "We are delighted to be celebrating our 10th birthday with a new Biscuiteers book. Ten years ago we launched a new way of gifting – beautiful hand-iced biscuits in fabulous packaging underpinned by a very distinctive design ethos. This is a collection of some of our most iconic collections and favourite projects and includes lots of unusual and exciting ways to explore the art of gifting with biscuits."
Biscuiteers Book of Iced Gifts will publish in hardback on 8th March 2018, priced £20.
