Hannah Bright is returning to the publishing industry, joining the Midas books team as senior accounts manager from mid February.
Bright most recently was part of The Lucre Group, working with clients in the fast-moving consumer goods, retail and gambling industries.
She started out as a bookseller at Waterstones while completing her degrees, before moving to the Waterstones head office as part of the events, festivals and PR department. Bright joined Transworld Publishers in 2016, where she managed high-profile campaigns for the likes of Tom Bradby, Dr Hannah Fry, Cathy Bramley and Diane Setterfield.
She joins Midas on 15th February as senior account manager, reporting to Georgina Moore, director of books and publishing.
Moore said: "I am excited to have Hannah joining my team at Midas. She has the perfect combination of skills from her time at Transworld, her time at Waterstones and her experience of agency life, to go full steam ahead with the busy pace at Midas, and to be able to work on the variety of accounts we look after across culture, festivals, books and the publishing trade."
Bright said: "It’s a real joy to be back in the publishing industry and I’m pleased to be joining the incredible team at Midas. I’ve been an admirer of Midas and their brilliant campaigns for a long time, and I’m looking forward to getting started at such an exciting time for the agency."
