Mitchell Beazley has scooped EastEnders actor and Celebrity Masterchef winner John Partridge's first cookbook, featuring dishes inspired by personal memories.
Described as a cookbook "with real difference and emotion", There’s No Taste Like Home will tell the actor’s own story of grief and recovery through food. It is born of out of a winning Masterchef menu inspired by his mother, who the star recently lost to Alzheimer’s.
Partridge, who now regularly appears at food festivals around the country, said: “Cooking the food from my past has helped me to live in the present. What a gift.”
Editorial director of the Octopus imprint, Eleanor Maxfield, acquired world rights from Clare Hulton. The book will be published in April 2020.
