Canongate has announced two newly-created roles in its publicity and marketing team and a promotion for publicist Anna Frame.
Katie Moffat will join the independent publisher in September as campaigns director, coming from Wiley where she has been for six years, most recently as associate marketing director. Moffat was previously at Waterstones, Hodder Headline and HarperCollins. In her new role she will oversee the marketing and PR teams, reporting into associate publisher Jenny Todd.
Todd said: "The creation of this new role forms part of a wider restructure within marketing and publicity at Canongate, designed to bring the teams further together and reinforce the fact that digital content is at the core of our marketing strategy."
Meanwhile Angela Robertson, previously publicity director, will now take up the new role of head of brand and events, working across the two teams. Anna Frame moves from acting head of publicity to head of publicity. Both will report to Moffat.
