Noel Murphy, sales and marketing director at Yale University Press London, has left the company.
Murphy departed "by mutual agreement" last week, the publisher said in a brief statement.
Murphy leaves after five years in the role, having joined YUPL in 2012 from a position as chief executive of the New Zealand Book Council. He was previously marketing director at Faber and Faber.
YUPL m.d. Heather McCallum said: "I want to thank Noel for his strong contribution to Yale University Press London. He is a highly skilled marketeer with very strong relationships across the industry. We wish him the very best of luck in the future.”
Murphy added: "I’ve had a fascinating five years at Yale University Press but now is good time to think about a new direction for the future. I'd like to thank my wonderful colleagues at Yale and wish them the very best for the future."
