Netflix has greenlit two more adaptations of Harlan Coben’s novels following the success of "Fool Me Once".
Coben’s Missing You (Orion) and Run Away (Cornerstone) will be adapted into two limited series produced by Quay Street Productions with Coben as executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions. It will mark the ninth and 10th screen adaptations, respectively, with Coben and Netflix.
"Fool Me Once", starring Michelle Keegan, Joanna Lumley and Richard Armitage, premiered globally on Netflix on 1st January 2023, amassing 61 million views internationally in it’s first two weeks on the screening platform.
Filming for "Missing You" will begin in spring 2024 and will be adapted for screen by Victoria Asare-Archer. The story follows Detective Kat Donovan whose fiancé disappeared 11 years ago but, when his face suddenly appears on a dating app, Donovan is forced to revisit the mystery surrounding her father’s murder.
Danny Brocklehurst will adapt Run Away which follows Simon, a father searching for his daughter.
