HQ has acquired a new book from B A Paris, The Therapist, seeing the author return to psychological suspense in "an utterly compelling tale of a house that holds a dark secret".
The Therapist will be published on 7th January 2021 in hardback, e-book and audiobook. Kate Mills, publisher at HQ, acquired UK and Commonwealth rights from Camila Bolton of the Darley Anderson Agency.
Mills said: "B A Paris has been at the heart of the HQ list since our launch, when Behind Closed Doors took readers around the world by storm. Since then, she’s sold over a million copies of her debut in the UK, and her books have appeared on both the Sunday Times and international bestseller lists. The whole HQ team is thrilled we have more to come from B A Paris and we can’t wait to get started on The Therapist."
Paris said: "I’m thrilled to be publishing another book with Kate and the wonderfully dynamic team at HQ. It has been both a pleasure and privilege to work with them over the years and I can’t wait to see what they do with The Therapist."
