Scottish YA author Claire McFall is releasing an e-book title, Making Turquoise, to raise money for food banks.
Making Turquoise is a re-telling of Romeo and Juliet in post-industrial Scotland. Haley and Liam live in a small town, she is a Protestant and he is a Catholic; they want to be together but everyone is against them.
The e-book is available on Amazon from Friday April 10th at £1.99, with 100% of the proceeds going to food banks supported by The Trussell Trust.
McFall is the winner of the 2013 Scottish Children’s Book Award and the 2015 Scottish Teenage Book Prize.
