Faber has had to amend its children's books publishing schedule due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with Francesca Simon's latest title delayed until next year.
Illustrated by Steve May, Simon's Two Terrible Vikings middle-grade book was due to be published by Faber and Profile in July 2020, and has now been rescheduled for February 2021.
Meanwhile James Catchpole's What Happened to You? which was originally scheduled for publication in August 2020, has also been delayed until the new year.
Other books have shifted by a few months. Chris Mould's The Ironman will now be published in November 2021, three months later than previously decided, and Voyage of the Sparrowhawk by Francesca Farrant will be published in September 2020 rather than June.
Two e-book publications, Uki and the Swamp Spirit by Kieran Larwood and The Ocean Squid Explorer's Club by Alex Bell, have been brought forward, and will be released in July and August 2020 respectively.
