Huq hosts videos to entertain home schooling children

Former “Blue Peter” presenter turned children's writer Konnie Huq is hosting a series of videos called "Science, Scribbles and Stories" to keep children entertained and educated over the coming weeks.

Topics will include everything from storytelling, writing and illustration to science, craft and much, much more. Launched on 25th March, videos were being released three times a week but are now comign out daily due to demand at 10am via the YouTube channel.

The first week will feature a snippet from her first children’s book, Cookie and the Most Annoying Boy in the World (Piccadilly Press).

Huq said: “Working from home and home-schooling the kids, while completing domestic chores and feeding everyone? Seriously? Parents out there, we want to help! These videos aim to be entertaining for you and your littluns. Over the coming weeks we will be covering all of the major primary school subjects, doing drawalongs, readings and quizzes to help keep your kids busy and keep parents sane!”
