Luke Neima, Josie Mitchell and Rachel Allen have been promoted at Granta magazine.
Neima has been made deputy editor, and will succeed Rosalind Porter, who is moving to become publisher of Notting Hill Editions. Porter's last day at Granta is 11th December.
Neima has been digital director at Granta since 2017, and will continue in the role as well as joining the executive management team. He will be reporting to Sigrid Rausing, Granta editor. Commenting on his appointment, Rausing said: "I am very pleased about this – Luke is an excellent editor, with great taste."
Josie Mitchell, who already commissions and edits podcasts and pieces for the website, has been promoted to online editor. She will report to the deputy editor.
Rachael Allen, the poetry editor for the magazine and Granta Poetry imprint, will join the wider editorial team and commission prose pieces for the magazine alongside poetry. She will report to Rausing and publishing director Bella Lacey.
