The Orion Publishing Group has hired two new people to join its group marketing team: Tom Noble and Katie Moss.
Noble, currently senior digital marketing manager at Pan Macmillan, will join the company in January as head of marketing for non-fiction as maternity cover for Anna Bowen, reporting into group marketing director, Sarah Benton.
In his current role at Pan Macmillan, Noble has worked on the digital marketing for bestselling brands and authors including Joe Wicks, Russell Brand, Ken Follett and Jessie Burton, as well as helping to launch new talent such as Adam Kay’s debut This is Going to Hurt. Previously he was marketing manager at Headline.
Moss, who moves across from HarperCollins, where she is currently marketing campaign manager for Harper Non-Fiction, will join the company on 2nd January as a marketing manager. Reporting in to Noble, she will work across all imprints at Orion but focus specifically on the health and wellbeing market.
She has worked on numerous non-fiction projects including Holly Willoughby, Martha Collison and Finding Gobi. Having also worked in the HarperFiction team as marketing executive, her fiction experience includes working on Lindsey Kelk, Dilly Court and Joanna Cannon’s The Trouble with Goats and Sheep.
Benton said: "I am so pleased to welcome Tom and Katie to our team in January. I’ve admired Tom’s work from afar for many years; a multi-skilled and innovative marketer, I’m so pleased to be able to bring him to Orion for a more senior role until Anna’s return. Having worked with Katie previously at HarperCollins, I am delighted to have her join my team again. Enthusiastic, creative and loved by authors, Katie is an absolute joy to work with. Both she and Tom will be huge assets to Orion next year and I can’t wait for them to join us."
