The Northern Fiction Alliance, an initiative supporting the publishing industry in the North of England, has announced the latest pairings in its mentorship program. The initiative connects early-career publishers from independent Northern presses with professionals at some of the UK’s biggest publishing houses.
In this latest round of mentorships, Bonnier Books UK will provide mentors to coach the "next generation of Northern publishing talent".
Perminder Mann, c.e.o. of Bonnier Books UK, will mentor Isabelle Kenyon, managing director of independent political publisher Fly on the Wall Press. Together, they will focus on charting a course for Fly on the Wall’s continued growth and development.
Eleanor Stammeijer, senior publicity manager for Bonnier Books UK’s adult fiction and non-fiction titles, will mentor Kirsty Hamilton, publicist at independent publisher Salt. They will work to refine Kirsty’s publicity skills, from managing timelines to cultivating long-term media contacts.
