Nosy Crow has announced a raft of promotions amidst a restructure of the fiction and non-fiction editorial team.
Rachel Kellehar, previously publishing director, will manage Nosy Crow’s fiction list as she is promoted to publisher for non-fiction, fiction, preschool, brands and licensing.
Zöe Griffiths, currently editorial director, is promoted to publishing director for fiction, and Elizabeth Jenner, currently editorial director at large, becomes publishing director for non-fiction.
Kirsty Stansfield, who returns from a leave of absence, becomes publishing director at large for fiction, working three days a week. Having run Nosy Crow’s fiction list since the beginning, she decided to step back to focus on her own growing list of books and authors, including Martin Howard and Pamela Butchart.
Kate Wilson, group chief executive of Nosy Crow, said: “I’m very happy to announce these three promotions which are a recognition of the important contributions Rachel, Zöe and Elizabeth have each brought to their areas of the Nosy Crow list.
“These changes reflect our ambition for our growing, successful, dynamic editorial team—a team that is so fundamental to Nosy Crow’s success and mission to create exciting, accessible books for children.
“Meanwhile, the way that we have been able to accommodate Kirsty’s decision to step back from a management role to concentrate on her authors is a tribute to Nosy Crow’s ongoing commitment to accommodating flexible working at the most senior level.”
