Anna Bond, Octopus managing director, said: “I am delighted that Alison is stepping up into the role of publishing director to run our newly defined division, Octopus Colour. Starling, newly promoted publishing director Octopus Colour, said: “Many congratulations to Kate Fox on her new role as publisher – a much-deserved recognition of the energy, and commercial nous she brings to the business. Working with the best authors and brands to publish authoritative, beautifully designed books that will last is a hugely rewarding process and I am so lucky to work with Octopus Colour’s talented team of commissioners and creatives to make that happen.”
The event also saw the announcement of a new internal structure within Octopus focusing on three category led strands: Octopus Colour, Octopus Voices and Octopus Balance. Octopus m.d. Anna Bond shared that there would be more to come on the Voices and Balance strands at a future date.
