Octopus is hosting its first Nourish & Inspire Wellness Day in partnership with Waterstones Tottenham Court Road.
The event, taking place on Saturday 30th June at Asia House in central London, will consist of a series of seven author-led panel discussions with over 20 authors from across the Octopus Publishing Group imprints, around the theme of wellness, covering topics from self-care to networking to sobriety. There will also be three 15-minute micro sessions of meditation, yoga and fitness included in the All Day Ticket option.
The day promises to “nourish, inspire and delight”, as well as providing the tools to embrace wellness in everyday life - no matter how busy things get. The line up, in association with media including Top Santé, Psychologies Magazine, Motherkind, Balance magazine and Red magazine, will include sessions on "eating mindfully" and "ridding your life of negativity", as well as how to build a career from your hobby, among others.
In addition to the panel discussions and micro sessions, Waterstones, the official bookseller for the day, will hold book signings with all the authors featured in the festival. More titles from Octopus’ list will also be available to buy on the day, as well as in its Tottenham Court Road store.
Rosie Beaumont-Thomas, events manager at Waterstones Tottenham Court Road, commented: “All of us at Waterstones TCR love this concept of a whole day dedicated to wellness – in turbulent times it’s much-needed. We can’t wait to take part as the Nourish & Inspire: The Wellness Day official bookshop, and we’ll be onsite throughout the whole day.”
Tickets to each individual event can be purchased for £10, or an all-day ticket can be bought for £50 which gives access to all panel events and the three bonus 15-minute wellbeing sessions. Tickets are available to buy online at www.nourish-inspire.com.
