PA appoints Coiffait-Gunn as new director of policy and promotes Howells

The Publishers Association (PA) has appointed Louis Coiffait-Gunn as director of policy and public affairs and promoted Ruth Howells to the role of director of communications.

Howells joined the PA in 2017 and has most recently been deputy director of external affairs. Her new role takes effect immediately.

Coiffait-Gunn has most recently worked in the private office of the Secretary of State for Education and as a senior policy adviser for the UK government’s Open Innovation Team. His career includes working with publishers, universities, multinationals, the media, professional associations and think tanks. He takes up his role on Tuesday 14th June.
