Palazzo Editions is launching Head Start, a new imprint for "practical books to help you get ahead".
The new imprint will be led by editorial director Duncan Proudfoot who is accepting new submissions via duncan@palazzoeditions.com.
Head Start will publish four titles this autumn including Dr Alexis Willetts’ calmism, an "easy-to-read" guide to develop eight habits which will leave the reader "completely revitalised", and Paul Mendelson’s The Joy of Bridge.
Darcy Millar’s The Instant Coffee Shop will also join the initial cohort as the "ultimate ’how to’ manual for anyone looking to open a coffee shop" from owner of Darcy Kaffes. The guide includes tips on the balance between take-away and sit-down business, promotion, staff and how to build a regular customer roster.
Artisan Bread from Your Bread Machine is the last of Head Start’s first titles from Manuel Monade, a professional baker. By using the principles of bread-making, Monade shows readers how to make "exceptional artisanal" bread in a bread machine.
