Palazzo hires Gemma Farr

London-based independent Palazzo Editions has hired Gemma Farr as its children’s commissioning editor.

Farr, formerly Gemma Rochelle, was previously children’s editor at Frances Lincoln, where she headed up the children’s non-fiction and art lists.

Jon Rippon, Palazzo m.d., said: “We are very pleased to have someone with such depth of experience and talent join our team to head up our growing children’s list. We are looking forward to introducing her to our customers and authors at the Bologna Book Fair later this month.”

Rippon acquired Palazzo two years ago from founders Colin and Pamela Webb.
