Kayelle Danyluk has been appointed head of talent acquisition at Pan Macmillan, reporting to director of people and culture Briony Grogan.
In the newly-created role Danyluk will oversee all recruitment activity across Pan Mac. A major focus of the role will be “attracting the best and widest possible pool of talent to the company” Pan Mac said, working with the head of diversity and inclusion. Danyluk will also work with the corporate communications team to build the company’s employer brand and raise the profile of Pan Mac outside the trade.
Danyluk joins from News UK where she was a talent acquisition partner recruiting a high number of roles across TV and radio. Before that, she held senior recruitment roles at Hays.
Grogan said: “Acquiring top-tier talent lies at the heart of Pan Macmillan’s people strategy, and in that regard, Kayelle is the perfect addition to our people team. With her track record in achieving high-impact placements in media, she has a knack for discerning both the clear-cut requirements of a role along with the subtler, interpersonal nuances. Her ability to identify excellent character is exceptional, which ensures not only quality hires but also positive contributors to our company culture. As we look toward expanding our talent pool with the best and diverse profiles in our industry, we are thrilled to welcome Kayelle aboard to lead this for us.”
Danyluk said: “I am thrilled to be joining the People Team at Pan Macmillan as their head of talent acquisition. I am a firm believer that books can be transformational and as an avid reader myself, I am beyond excited to be working for a values-driven publishing company as prestigious as Pan Macmillan. I am passionate about identifying and connecting with talent that will help foster growth and innovation and look forward to making a positive impact on the business."
Danyluk will join the company on 22nd January.
