Pan Macmillan has acquired four more books by The Woolworths series author Elaine Everest.
The first of the four new books in The Woolworths series will be published in 2020. Wayne Brookes, associate publisher at Pan Macmillan, has acquired World English rights, excluding US, in the books by Elaine Everest.
The deal was made on behalf of Caroline Hogg, who is on maternity leave, with rights bought from Caroline Sheldon at Caroline Sheldon Literary Agency.
Brookes said: “We’re delighted to acquire another four books from Elaine Everest. Elaine’s ever-popular The Woolworths series continues to grow, and we’re looking forward to publishing The Teashop Girls, the start of a fantastic new series with Elaine, next May. It’s great to know we’ve got more books from Elaine to look forward to.”
Everest said: “I'm thrilled to have been offered such a generous contract. The whole team are a joy to work with and along with my agent Caroline Sheldon I look forward to a long association with Pan Macmillan."
