Amy Pearson is joining DK as global brand and communications director, succeeding Louise Brown when she leaves the company at the end of November.
Pearson (pictured, top) joins DK on 1st November with more than 20 years' experience of brand marketing and communications in the entertainment, media and TV sector. She has worked for Channel 5, the Cartoon Network, Boomerang and most recently as director of brand and communications at Beano Studios.
Carsten Coesfeld, DK c.e.o., said: “I am thrilled to welcome Amy to DK. Her proven track record and expertise in brand will be a huge benefit to us, she will be instrumental in developing our communications strategy and taking our brand to the next level.”
Pearson said: “I’m thrilled and honoured to be joining Carsten and the DK team, this is an exciting global brand with lots up it’s sleeves! I’m really looking forward to working with the team and to build on their success, I can’t wait to get cracking.”
For the last seven years, Brown (pictured, right) has been responsible for DK’s brand and communications. She has now made the decision that now is the right time to “take on a new challenge and spend more time in sunny Broadstairs, Kent”.
She said: “I have hugely enjoyed nearly 24 years at DK. It has been a privilege to work alongside so many talented, creative and passionate colleagues across our global community. I very much look forward to seeing DK go from strength to strength.”
Coesfeld added: "It's been a pleasure to work with Lou. Her incredible work has brought the DK community much closer together, particularly since lockdown last year, and I would like to thank her and wish her all the very best for the future."
