Charles Hewitt, m.d. of Pen & Sword Books, commented: “We are delighted to acquire this niche publisher which has really set the bar high when it comes to interpreting and understanding more about battlefields and how they exist today and since the end of conflict. We are excited about the prospect of continuing this philosophy and working with After the Battle’s stable of excellent authors to achieve this”
Green said: “After over three decades of working alongside Winston Ramsey, I am delighted to continue this relationship with Pen & Sword Books, which is the perfect fit to take After the Battle forward. We will leave no stone unturned to carry on producing books of the highest quality possible for our existing and new readers with a company who completely understands and endorses our philosophy".
Winston Ramsey commented: “Since I started After the Battle in 1973, we have researched hundreds of stories in dozens of countries, and covered thousands of miles to take the comparison photographs. It has certainly been a labour of love for me and as I hand over the baton to Charles, I wish Pen & Sword Books every success in their future endeavours.”
