Penguin Life and Stylist partner on 'Remarkable Women'
Penguin Life is partnering with Stylist magazine on an "empowering and inspirational" anthology of stories and life lessons from powerful women, pitched as "Rebel Girls for the modern woman".
The book, titled Life Lessons from Remarkable Women, comprises "insightful, funny and often very moving" articles from 25 women, including Olympian Nicola Adams, MP Jess Phillips, entrepreneur Bobbi Brown and presenter and campaigner Katie Piper.
The voices of these inspiring women will address every aspect of a modern woman’s life, according to Penguin Life, from love and loss through to confidence-building and empowerment.
The contributors range from sportswomen to entrepreneurs, politicians to writers, and in the mix are authors Roxane Gay, Nina Stibbe and Reni Eddo-Lodge.
Curated by Stylist magazine, the collection will be published as a £9.99 hardback and e-book with Penguin Life on 1st March, to coincide with International Women’s Day the week after on 8th March 2018.
Particular Books' non-fiction children's book about extraordinary women from around the world, Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls by Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo, was today (9th November) shortlisted for the Waterstones Book of the Year 2017.
