Hachette held its inaugural Pride in Writing event at Waterstones Piccadilly on Thursday 4th July, during which 17 LGBTQ authors spoke to an audience of almost 100.

Francesca Dow hailed Puffin’s "great new adventure in non-fiction" at Penguin Random House Children’s summer party, which took place at the Natural History Museum on Wednesday 3rd July.

HarperCollins also held their annual summer party on Wednesday 3rd July, during which Charlie Redmayne paid tribute to Judith Kerr and Bob Bradford.

900 guests—including authors Adele Parks pictured, David Williams and David Baddiel—attended the event, which took place at the V&A museum.
